She is crouching. I don't want to sound rude but i think it's clear that shes on the ground. Maybe the ribbons on the hair buns gave you the wrong idea

No, it's not that. Her form itself looks a lot like her jumping HK in Super Street Fighter IV but I looked at the back foot and saw the toes bent so that clued me in.

Either way it looks good to me. Nice work. ^_^
